Map of IIDP Islet Isolation Centers

The IIDP coordinates the distribution of human islets and non-islet biomaterials (NIB) from the ten experienced islet isolation centers shown in the map below. The centers procure pancreata from deceased organ donors, with specified permission to use them for research purposes. and isolate the human islets along with processing the NIB. These resources are made available to approved investigators who utilize the high-quality IIDP products in conducting their basic science research in diabetes.
